Area diamond stars earn all-state honors

This past spring, there was plenty of success and big performances to be seen.

They could be seen on the local high school baseball diamond and the area softball fields. And a good number of the area players were honored with all-state accolades.

Among that group were a pair of pitchers from the Pacific Conference champion Tualatin baseball team. Timberwolf senior right-hander Mark Lambson and senior left-hander Brandon Snyder were both Class 6A first-team all-state picks.

Tigard senior shortstop Darian Kramer was a second-team all-state selection.

At the Class 5A level, four members of the Sherwood baseball team that won the Northwest Oregon Conference title earned all-state accolades.
