Tualatin, Sherwood to open OIBA postseason play

TUALATIN — The Tualatin-based Suburban Door OIBA baseball team will open postseason play with a best-of-three seeding series with Dr. Barney’s from Southridge High School.

The series, which will determine seeding for the 16-team OIBA state tournament, will start Friday with a 5:30 p.m. game at Tualatin High School. The series will end with a doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m., Saturday at Southridge.

Tonkin Nissan from Sherwood will also be in postseason play. The Sherwood team will face Gladstone in a best-of-three series.

The first game will be played Friday, starting at 6 p.m. at Sherwood High School. Game No. 2 will be played Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gladstone. The third game, if needed, will be played Sunday, at 1 p.m., at Sherwood.
